17 IPTA/IPTS.
100 candidates will be interviewed.
50 brightest students will be selected
...and stand a chance to meet Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad for a 5-day event at Hotel Awana, Genting Highlands.
I'll be interviewed Jabatan Hal Ehwal Khas (JASA) in two days. Yes, the interview will be on Saturday, 3 p.m. I know how much important and valuable this opportunity is, but I can't restrain myself from feeling inferior now. I.am.not.confident. Simple words, I don't think that I'm going to get a spot among the 50.
I know this is a long shot, but I'll do my best. Azalia said, "If God brings you to it, He will brings you through it".
p/s: Dear God, I'll be fasting for 3 days if you give me a chance to be one of the selected 50. Just so you know, I don't mind of being the 50th person to be selected. Pleasssse.

"Place: Karekar Ave., at the corner crossing Khosravi St. and Salehi st.
A young woman who was standing aside with her father watching the protests was shot by a basij member hiding on the rooftop of a civilian house. He had clear shot at the girl and could not miss her. However, he aimed straight her heart. I am a doctor, so I rushed to try to save her. But the impact of the gunshot was so fierce that the bullet had blasted inside the victim's chest, and she died in less than 2 minutes.
The protests were going on about 1 kilometers away in the main street and some of the protesting crowd were running from tear gass used among them, towards Salehi St.
The film is shot by my friend who was standing beside me.
Please let the world know."
Of late, the turbulent aftermath of Iran's election has been my latest magnetic concern. Kudos to you, Afiq for posting this, and I hope that everyone should at least pay heed on this kind of issues that tainted our Islamic history. we should really get out from our snug comfy little Boleh-land and start looking at others to reflect back to our own society and history in the making. In fact, the crisis that's happening in Iran is getting bloodier everyday.
I stopped reading 'Reading Lolita in Tehran' for this time being, because the book is so heavy with controversial Iranian issues. Some backgrounds: Since the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979, the face of Iran never be the same again. It also been called an event that "made Islamic fundamentalism a political force... from Morocco to Malaysia". With Shiah cleric Ayatollah Khomeini as its de facto leader of the movement, Tehran had many major changes. But now, the latest election's result had initiated a very controversial question; Did Ahmedinejad really win?
No one knows that.
I am very well aware that, to get everyone on this earth be enrolled under one banner is almost impossible. Nevertheless, the heterogeneity should make humans more mysterious yet wonderful, aren't we? But in the name of fucking politics, we brothers and sisters readily to shed blood and hurt each others. Some of us ignorantly neglect such tragedy because it's happening on the other side of the globe owing to the fact that such thing won't affect us much anyways. Therefore we didn't even bother to even be mindful of such issues. Always remember that, politics should never be the reason for us to be torn apart or be a license for us to kill or hurt each other. Ever.
Let us pray the best for our brothers and sisters. That is the least that we can do, aren't we?

I hate to say this, but sometimes I think that the politicians are the ones ruining and spoiling everything.
I was born in a darah-Keris family. Therefore, it's been in my blood since back then and both my joint family and nucleus family are the Keris supporter. I still remember when I was in primary school, I would hang the posters around the kampong and stayed up till midnight during General Election. I used to follow my dad here and there, a true Keris henchman, campaigning from house to house with the candidate and I found it very, very interesting because it felt good to watch my dad and his colleagues 'preaching' to the households. That's how I became a staunch Keris supporter too but still and all, I am not totally blinded by it.
Anyway, I am one of expanding 27 million Malaysians and totally bewildered by my homestate, Perak political circus. About 2 days ago, we saw an outrageous behaviour of how our so-called leaders in massive brawl; almost identical with the fight that broke in South Korean Parliament before. Politics is the art of the possible, but these people (politicians) are not fighting for the Rakyat anymore. It's all about gobbling and guzzling more projects, money and tenders. I am a rightist, but being a rightist didn't mean that we have to listen ONLY the rightists' dogmas; and vice versa. They have turned our Parliament and House into a bickering mamak stall where the can shout, accuse and downgrade themselves into a bunch of helpless monkeys fighting for more bananas. Are they really the best people to lead and represent us, the Rakyats? Heaven forbid that!
And to the Rakyats, stop being so obsess with those sugar-coated words from them politicians. I will never understand why people getting so psyched-up upon hearing those only-on-paper manifestos. Kudos to Anwar Ibrahim, he's a good example of a person with big mouth, good excuses, and sodomizing more promises; but lo and behold, the Rakyats with small brains still waiting for more excuses made from Nirvana. Wake up!
Sleepy Pak Lah or Pink-lipped Najib, Nik Aziz or Anwar Ibrahim; I don't fucking care.
I want my Malaysia back and no matter how thick the moola in your pocket; remember; we made you.
Update: Awesomeness. So taiko-lah our leaders!

[Christian Louboutin]

So I turned my head, just to take a brief look as she's climbing her way upstairs. And my eyes caught the lower, back sight of the shoes. It was blood-red.
It is Christian Louboutin's.
It's drop-dead gorgeous on that drop-dead gorgeous lady.
I can't believe my eyes, and I shouted to Madam Adzura, "Madam, is that Christian Louboutin shoes?" and as expected, it's a YES. After my friends and I had our literature class, we met her but unluckily she wasn't clad in CL anymore (of course, it was raining this evening) and we had a little chat about her shoes. How much it cost, where did you buy it, blah blah blah. And she admits that she's quite amazed how on earth I know those are Christian Loboutin's (since I'm a guy, and I wear no high heels).
Those pricey shoes are not just a sheer pair of shoes.
It's a piece of art.
Those red bottom shoes only have FIVE boutiques in the States. Malaysia? In your dream, ladies. Surely those shoes worth thousands, and maybe you may buy hundreds of shoes with that a pair of CL. Celebrities ranging from Britney Spears, Jolie, Mariah Carey, Kate Bosworth, Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Christina Aguilerra, to name a few. It's a must have shoes in Hollywood, for sure and today, I saw Madam Adzura rockin' in it! How cool is that? It's like a seeing a piece of Britney Spears in Shah Alam! Madam Adzura is a new definition of beauty with brain, I must say. Double sexy-ness!
The most interesting about the about it is its history. Go Google for it. Plus, if I'm rich enough, with five figures salary on my paycheck, surely I'll buy my wife to clad in that. Fierce!
p.s: I still wonder why most of darn-famous designers are men. Even Versace is fouded by a GUY. Donatella Versace is just his one lucky sister.
p.s.s: This is my second encounter with CL shoes. You don't want to see how I react in the first time.
p.s.s.s: Again, it's NOT a waste of money! It's like spending money on a Humvee. NOT a waste, people.

The coolest effort ever to bridge up every ethnic and race in Malaysia! Hahaha! ;) Better than some politicians that just like a bunch of perching parrots on PM's shoulders..
