I took this picture while Herne was busy persuading the kids during my Champs' part-time job.

I wonder what he was thinking.

Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy

You fingertips across my skin
The palm trees swaying in the wind

You sang me Spanish lullabies
The sweetest sadness in your eyes
Clever trick

I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

We walked along a crowded street
You took my hand and danced with me

And when you left you kissed my lips
You told me you would never let forget these images, no

I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

I cannot go to the ocean
I cannot drive the streets at night
I cannot wake up in the morning
Without you on my mind
So you're gone and I'm haunted
And I bet you are just fine
Did I make it that easy
To walk right in and out of my life?

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you
Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

Time has made fun of us.

We laughed, we wept and we hurt each other. It doesn't matter no more. The heart is too tired to think anymore, but there's always a space for another precious two. The irreplaceable two; and yes it's you.

Time mends.
Everyone says it and we tried so hard to believe in it. But it just won't go away. You wore my heart on your sleeve and it felt so good. Sometimes we just want the good old days back in our life, but regretting won't bring any good. So we just let the feeling pass, letting it go.

The years have been cruel to us. The urge to forgive ourselves for what we've done. It's not easy but it's not supposedly being that hard. We said to ourselves, "It's time to let go. Let go". But we still gripped it firmly. I won't let it go. Will you?

Another chapter is about to come to an end. And words are all the things that I had and have. I'm no a wordsmith. I'm no good in words, but believe me this table is the only place I call home. And it will always be. I have no more Love stories. I don't want one too. Because I have no one to share with. But, hey! Life is full with surprises, we'll never know when He will play His tricks. Till' the day our Friendship speaks louder than words.

We are young.
But we are getting old.

You said, "Let these years be a remembrance for us in the future". I agreed. Without friends, no one would want to live, even if he had all other goods. And then we'll have a cuppa, here.

A place for thee. A table for us three.

"A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out."

It was a BLAST.

I really enjoyed every bit of it. It's nice to see the youngsters like us do super-creative things and successfully held such event. The local acts need a little more support from the authorities, I think. We have such a great talents to be put into the limelight!

I met Nina who opened her clothing booth there and my juniors; Muaz + Marley from UiTM Melaka there! They did some photos exhibition and I just can't take my eyes off the pix. The shirts are also awesome but I bought nothing simply because there's a bigggg hole in my pocket. Have to wait till Tuesday for my allowance. Ka-Ching!

And many ideas pop-upped in my head throughout the event and of course, it's for Ethos! InsyaAllah I will try to voice them out in the next committee meeting of Ethos! We absolutely to color our faculty a bit to make it more alive. The monotonous atmosphere has to get rid off!

I would LOVE to join such event again in the future. And hopefully join the poetry recitals someday, somewhere. (dreamin)

Lie to me, please.
Lie to me words I wanted to hear,
Lie to me, please,
And I'll feel alright.

There is a room for this feeling,
It's vacant,
It's blank,
It's pure.

Tell me.
Tell me more lies,
Whisper them like lullabies,
So tonight,
I'll be able to shut my eyes.

Lie to me, please.
Because the truth is to bitter for me to live with.

Terima kasih wahai Tuhanku
yang sentiasa melimpahkan rahmat-Nya
membenarkan aku menghadap-Mu
Tuhan yang Maha Pengasih
dan Maha Penyayang

Untuk bercakap dengan-Mu Tuhan
mengizinkan ku minta pada-Mu
memuja memuji sepenuh hatiku
memohon munajat pada-Mu Ya Rabbi

Tapi aku khuatir ketika menghadap-Mu
tidak pula pandai beradab dengan-Mu
aku mula bimbang
kalau aku derhaka dalam ketaatan
bukan rahmat dari-Mu yang ku dapat
tapi ku kan dapat kemarahan-Mu

Ya Rabbal 'Aalamin
Maafkanlah aku.

My recent written poems ("musafir" and "murtad") will be re-posted in few days due to some legitimate reasons. Thanks for asking, peeps!

Have a great week!

Acad, Chip and I made our way to the Mid Valley as soon as we wind up our full-rehearsal drama perfomance this afternoon. With empty stomaches, Chip drove us to the Mid Valley and we sung along the busy highway; and it was a quite rainy day (blame us not)

We had a good time stuffing our mouth at the Chicken Rice Shop and went straight to watch Shia's Eagle Eye right after that. On our way out of the premise, I visited Machines to collect my RM30 points that was given on my birthday. Then, we went  to MPH and the soul torturing began; too many good books with too little money in my wallet. BUT, when there's a will, there's a way!

I spent my weekly allowance; RM 102.80 to buy these 4 new books; The Curious Incident of the Dog, The Fifth Mountain, Marley & Me and Does My Head Look Big In This? Oh, yes. I know I'm guilty. As a punishment, there will be no McD, no Movies, no PakLi, no Bowling, no MPH, no, no, no! I'm grounded (Azie, 2008)

p/s: I got a big hole in my pocket, now. Belanja me, anyone?

I’d never really like birthdays. The numbers often reminded me of awful aging wrinkles. But this time around, I kinda like it. Wait, maybe I Love it. No plenty of presents, no long phone calls from the girl that I admired, no parties; only friends, friends and more beautiful friends and family. Who am I to ask for more?

Thank you guys!

For awful but sweet  Happy Birthday” song sung by you, for tens of SMSes, for the birthday-minutes countdown, for the not-so-surprising-upcoming-presents, the YM shoutouts and for the wishes and prayers. Thank You.

Be good, well, and safe, everybody. No matter you near or far, zillions of thanks to you!

Mom & Dad,

I know that you’ll always wish me late few hours later, but I don’t really care. I know how much I meant to you and you meant to me. The prayes and blessings from you are more than enough. My angels.

You’ve told me not to play and fool around too much. “Spend little time with girls because you’re simply still my little boy” you said.  I laughed my heart out.

Yes, I am and forever will be your little boy. Funny.

You have taught me to find who I really am; and that what a friend suppose to be. We often exchanging messages through YM, even distance is still not a boundary for us.  Just whatever, dude. You’re there with me when I needed you the most.  Thank you!

Let’s count the days till you’re home, once again. And we’ll talk about girls some more. It never ends, right? How beautiful Ukhuwwah is. Hope it will stay as it always be. InsyaAllah.

Dream. Dream. Dreams.

Who cares about the commonsensical of it? Dreams are free!! Though we never really speak face to face, thanks to YM, we conversed and laughed almost every night till 2 or 3 a.m. You laughed, laughed, laughed and laughed!

Humor can be humbling, no? Let’s us laugh ‘till our face hurts.

Ehem… When we’re gonna have a cuppa?

Acad + Chip + Jeng + Wanchai,

You guys are the most rare species of all, maybe at the brink of extinction.  Moja, we’re broke. We’ll just share to buy you ‘Eclipse’. Take it or leave it “. You guys rock!

Joy, oh Joy! Always the joys!

Tatie, Nad, Ella, Syud, Aimi, Tajul,

Thanks for the “Hey, orang tua” wish. It meant a lot. Hahaha! Thanks for inviting smiles on my face when Mr. Kieran’s face scattered all over my brain due the upcoming test this evening.

Noona, Ija, Wan, Fira, Nanie, Farah, Alina, Tiqah, Meera,  Eli, CekYam, Nurul, Kak Aisyah, Daniel Liew, Baran, Irma Ain, Wawa, Efa, Shamira, Liyana, Mary, Kinah, Shafreen, Mael, Yaty, Pirdaus, Niza and everybody!

Thanks, thanks, thanks! I Love you guys! :D

When the world turns its back at you, be not sad; you have those who Love you still.  Always, the joy and the  smiles!  You warmth our days and merry our souls every time you cackled with glee.But. We all know that life sometimes may be intruded by sadness and gloom; then again, let not those affect you and your laughter because the joy and jolly you bring along the way will surely be missed.

Of course, there are no absolute guarantees in life, but let not them hinder you from the joy and ecstasy that life may offer. And we Love you not for what you are, but for what you’ve made us feel.Precious.

Happy Birthday, Tatie! We Love you, sister!

thou shalt not vex a twilighter.

OK. That may sound rubbish, but who cares. When I was surfing the webs, I was 'buzzed' by a friend that hadn't YM me for ages even if he's online almost every night. He sent me that frantic laughing smiley(s); and I wholeheartedly asked him why? why? why? and He YM-ed "First time aku taw org laki baca Twilight! Pompuan je baca weyh!"

I replied not.

My bad though; I brain-dead-ly put "Twilight Disorder" as my YM status that night.

But that's not the point. The point(s) are;

1. I am not just a Twilighter. I am a reader.
2. Since when books are discretely fixed accordingly to genders?
3. Haven't he heard the "Don't judge a book by its cover" idiomatic expression?
4. He sucks.
5. He sucks.
6. He's friggin' sucks!

I'm a Twilight addict at present. Don't take away my drugs.

Now I may continue my moonlight-reading in peace.

~ ~

Books, glorious books. Meet my current addiction; the Twilight saga!

I've wind up the very first book yesterday and apparently, this book is better than just good and no wonder it's a phenomenon success in the States. I entirely blaming at these two Twilighters; Nashrah and Afiqah. Thanks for cheerleading me along the way, to wind up these books. Hahaha!

p/s: I think it's true that Edward is a serial dater. For centuries. Hahahaha!

p/ss: Thanks Aimi, for driving Azri and me to SACC yesterday! Happy Reading to you!!

The road seemed endless. Little by little steps he took to get near to her, and little that he know it just drew him even farther from her. He felt like running to get to her, but his feet won't. "You're too good from me. I'm too bad for you," he whispered. To forewarn him before he floats too high from the ground.

He almost knew nothing about it. But yes, he has heard about it numerous times; the greatest healer but sometimes, the venomous poison. Love can consign us to hell or paradise, but it always takes us somewhere. He simply has to accept the existence of this intricate feeling, because it nourishes his existence.

He's looking for someone to share his piece of mind. Someone to hold and someone to grow old with. He stretched his hand, trying to pick the fruits in the garden of life. But he was too afraid- because he might ruin everything that beautiful in the garden. So, he sat and just stare, hoping no damage is bound to occur.

"IloveyouIloveyouIloveyou," he whispered enthusiastically down under the shady tree. He knew she won't hear, but at least he felt better after saying it.  A whole lot better.

He silently prayed;

"If pain must come, may it come quickly. Because I have life to live, and I need to live it in the best way possible. If she has to make a choice, may she make it now. Then I will either wait for her, or forget her.

Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering."

She's on his mind.  His heart told him that he was in Love, but the noes have it. Before he fell asleep, he softly said to himself;

"Tonight I will leave you. And you will leave me too. I won't dream of you. And you'll do the same too. Till we meet again!"

He closed his eyes.

and silently, he wept.
